Innovative Consensus Mechanism

Aptos uses a unique consensus mechanism called AptosBFT, a combination of PoS (Proof of Stake) and BFT (Byzantine Fault Tolerance). This consensus mechanism makes Aptos robust and fast as it keeps the chain operating safely even if one-third of the validators try to act dishonestly.
